‍ ‍SCHOOL POLICY

1. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS DURING DRIVING LESSONS

For safety and instructional purposes, a maximum of three (3) people are permitted in the vehicle during a student’s driving lesson with Focus Point Driving Ltd.

This includes:

• One driving instructor.

• One student driver.

• One observing student (who may be present to observe the lesson).

No additional passengers are permitted in the vehicle during the lesson.

2. DRIVER’S LICENCE REQUIREMENTS

All students must present a valid British Columbia (BC) Learner’s Driver’s Licence (Class 7L), a valid BC driver’s licence (Class 5 or 7), or an acceptable equivalent foreign driver’s licence before their first driving lesson.

Students must carry their valid driver’s licence at all times during driving lessons and training sessions.

3. ROAD TEST BOOKING POLICY

Students may book their road test independently or request Focus Point Driving Ltd. to arrange the booking on their behalf.

Students must sign a Consent and Release Form before the school can book a road test for them.

To qualify for road test booking assistance through Focus Point Driving Ltd., students must be actively enrolled in our driving program and continue taking driving lessons within XX days of their scheduled road test.

Focus Point Driving Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any road test appointment booked on behalf of a student who does not meet these requirements.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

4. INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for lesson cancellations. Cancellation requests received less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time are subject to the cancellation fees outlined in this policy. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within this period.

5. PACKAGES

Students may request a refund of their package after completing the first class. If a refund is requested, each completed lesson will be charged at the regular individual lesson rate, and the remaining package balance will be refunded.

A $25.00 processing fee will also apply to all package refund requests.

All packages must be fully used within two (2) months from the date of purchase. After this period, the package will expire, and any remaining unscheduled lessons will be cancelled without a refund.

6. LATE CANCELLATIONS (APPLICABLE TO PACKAGES)

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for all lesson cancellations.

• Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson date and time will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.

• Cancellations received less than 12 hours before the scheduled lesson date and time will be charged the full price of the scheduled lesson.

• Students who fail to show up for their scheduled lesson without prior notice will be responsible for the full lesson fee.

7. REFUND PROCESSING

Once a refund request has been approved under the applicable conditions outlined in this policy, please allow up to five (5) business days for processing.

• Refunds will be issued through the original payment method or another payment method mutually agreed upon by the student and Focus Point Driving Ltd.
